NKY Speech Therapy was started by Heather Butler in 2010 to fill a need in the Northern Kentucky area. Heather is originally from Erlanger. She is a nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is also a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Kentucky. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Ohio State University. She went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Heather has over 20 years of experience in Speech-Language Pathology. She has worked in a variety of clinical and educational settings including early intervention, public and private schools, pre-schools, hospitals, and out-patient rehab settings. Prior to moving back to Kentucky, she owned and operated a private practice in Ft. Myers, Florida.
